United States Code
The Code of Laws of the United States of America〔(Title 1 of the Code ) as published by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel〕 (variously abbreviated to Code of Laws of the United States, United States Code, U.S. Code, or U.S.C.) is the official compilation and codification of the general and permanent federal statutes of the United States. It contains 52 titles,〔(Public Law No: 113-287, To enact title 54, United States Code, "National Park Service and Related Programs", as positive law. )〕〔Title 34 ''(Navy)'' was repealed, but the numbering system was retained. See (USC Table of Contents ).〕 and a further two titles have been proposed.〔(Office of the Law Revision Counsel )〕 The main edition is published every six years by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the House of Representatives, and cumulative supplements are published annually.〔(United States Code )〕〔(About United States Code ).
